Diana: Cultural Learnings of Singapore for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Malaysia.

Martin Scorsese

I find it funny when Mr Scorsese won his first Oscar ever with the film The Departed. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad he won. He had been denied of his Oscar for years. If you ask me, I think he should have already won a few Oscars. Especially for Goodfellas and Gangs of New York.

But an Oscar for The Departed? It's not even an original piece. OK maybe he did an excellent job in directing the film. I loved the cinematography and the editing (I didn't know the editor was a woman until I watched the Oscars..not to mention an ehem old woman...heeeeeeee :D) I enjoyed the film. I was excited and thrilled throughout the whole film. The anticipation was not because of the film itself...I just couldn't wait for the ending. To see how would William Monahan cramp three excellent films into one.

Maybe I am biased because I watched and loved all three of Infernal Affairs. Owh well.

I'm glad he won. He's getting older and older. I hope the academy wouldn't wait for another 40 years to Oscarized Mr Martin Scorsese :D

p.s: Leonardo Dicaprio owes Scorsese big time. The man practically revived his acting career. Don't you think so?

I'm mad about 'em movies!
how on earth am i supposed to bring you back to malaysia? can't the academy just give me the small miniature or a replica of the oscar? (gosh! it rhymed!) har har har

"perfer et obdura; dolor hic tibi proderit olim"

I am free.

I have finally stopped caring. I can't afford to give anymore chances to those who are unable to make use of the chances and the privileges I gave them. Why did I even bother? So be it.

A couple more months (touch wood, fingers crossed) and I'm out of here.

I am extremely thrilled to start a new life far far away from here.

Life; as we know it, is whatever we make out of it. Live life. No matter how we look at it, be it the best, the worst, or something in between, we will all end up dead. Enjoy life, or sulk and complain if that is your choice, so be it. As cliche as it may sound, it is by the way, your life.

No, this is not good bye. It is just the beginning.
